What to expect: In the world of monstrous, alcoholic Zinfandel this is an alien. Made in a reserved style by modern standards so that it exibits the charming fruit more than the burn and power of the alcohol. Lots of forest berries will be driving the fruit, with some red cherry / blackberry jam. As is expected, a nice dose of cinnamon lifts the fruit.
Drink this wine with pasta, pizza, burgers, or grilled red meats in general. Stay away from spicy foods as the wine will just seem more alcoholic.
